Tank Demolisher TD is an open-ended, minimalistic, military-themed tower defense game. There are 5 towers with 5 upgrades, 10 abilities, 6 levels with an online leaderboard, and 20 achievements to explore.

You need to protect your base from a variety of enemy tank types. As time progresses, the enemies get stronger. You can alter the attack route of the enemy by placing your towers along the current route. As you progress through the levels, you gain new abilities that help you defend your base. Compete with other players to gain a spot on the online leaderboards.

How long can you survive the endless waves of attacking tanks?

I made this game to get experience in the tower defense genre. Feel free to criticize it and share ideas for new features. I'm especially interested in what players like and dislike about it.

Wave 163 on level 2! I'm improving :D As a suggestion to add is some indicator of when you'll be reaching your next star. I always hope I don't miss the message so I know what star I reached. If it's the same for each level, you may write it in the description.

Also, it would also be nice to somehow see your highscores! It's tracked, but I can't find anywhere to see it!

I like that I can just send 3 or 4 waves at once to speed it up. It's also fun to see so many tanks at once :)

Thank you for your feedback.

You can see when the next star is reached by hovering the cursor over the wave number. I will move this text somewhere more visible.

I will display the high score in the level select menu.

Got to wave 65 on the first level. gg! Well made :)

Thank you for playing. You have beaten my high score :)

Fun but a little slow paced.

Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you had fun.
Did you try to send waves early by pressing the next wave button to increase pace?
(That feature is not so obvious. I should probably improve that.)

I did see that. The problem is that the black tanks come slowly and if you send too many waves while the black tanks it can easily overwhelm, but the black tank waves take very long.

Some more feedback: Railguns are OP, their actual DPS because of their AOE is way more than any other tower. With only railguns and good placement, you can basically rush the first waves until you get black tanks. Basically, 6 railguns will solo the first 50 waves excepting black tanks. For black tanks, you just put some double cannons after the railguns clear the AOE. But you can't rush the black tanks because the double cannon spin up time means that if a single tank gets by, all the double cannons DPS will be significantly lower.

More feedback:

Basic tower is pure garbage. Never used. Their needs to be levesl with significant financial issues to ever consider it. I'd halve its cost.

Artillery is good in theory, but has much smaller AOE than a well placed railgun, which does all the AOE you need. Artillery should be buffed AOE.

Walls are too expensive, should be half as expensive, better to just spam whatever tower you have invested your points into.

And the slowing tower is kinda bad because of how expensive it is. You get more DPS by just spamming towers than trying to strategically slow.

I would significantly buff the railgun range, but also significantly nerf the damage to try to balance it so it isn't so OP. As it is, its too easy to just spam because it can clear everything besides black tanks.

Also, my impression is that the 3x speed button affects tower performance. Many TD games have this problem. I think the AOE towers (especially artillery) actual DPS is lower at 3x, probably due to lag causing tanks to not take AOE damage. Could just be in my head though.

Thank you for your feedback. I will fix most of this in the next update.
